How do I create an account?
You can easily create an account by clicking the 'Create Account' link at the bottom of the login page.
What can I use to log in?
You can securely log in using either your registered email address or your phone number.
What if I forgot my password?
Just click the 'Forgot password?' link above the password field on the login page, and follow instructions.
Can I change my username?
Yes, you can change your username in your Profile & Settings. However, for security purposes, you can only change it once every 30 days. Usernames must be unique.
How do I change my email address?
You can request an email change in your Profile & Settings. We will send a verification link to your new address. Your email will only be updated once you click that link, after which you will need to log in again.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account in your Profile & Settings by verifying your password. Please be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your personal data will be removed.
Tutoring & Live Sessions
Where do the tutoring sessions take place?
All sessions happen directly on tutordue via our built-in live video platform powered by LiveKit. Just join from your dashboard at the scheduled time.
What happens if a session is missed?
If a tutor doesn't show up within 30 minutes, the session is cancelled and funds are automatically refunded to your wallet. If you miss a session as a student, the tutor's time is compensated based on our cancellation policy.
Assignment Gigs
How do assignment requests work?
You post a request with your requirements and deadline. Tutors bid or claim the gig. Once you accept a tutor, the payment is held in escrow until the solution is submitted and reviewed.
Can I request revisions on an assignment?
Yes, you can request revisions if the submitted work doesn't meet your original specifications. Tutors are required to address these before funds are released from escrow.
Marketplace & Resources
How do I access my purchased materials?
Digital resources, study bundles, and recorded sessions are available for immediate download in your 'Library' tab once the PayChangu payment is confirmed.
Wallet & Payments
How does the escrow system work?
When you pay for a session or gig via PayChangu, tutordue holds the funds securely. The tutor is only credited once the service is delivered, ensuring your money is protected.
How do tutors get paid?
Tutor earnings are accumulated in their platform wallet. Withdrawals can be requested at any time and are processed via PayChangu to your linked bank account or mobile wallet.
